Stats Guy Fantasy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website, our public API (api.statsguyfantasy.com), our browser extension, and our plugin for AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude (together, the “Services”).

2. Information We Don't Collect

The Services have no user accounts. We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers (unless you email us)
• Passwords, login cookies, or credentials for any fantasy platform
• Payment information
• Precise location data
• Your conversations with an AI assistant

3. Information We Collect

Server and request logs

Like most web services, our servers record each request they receive: your IP address, browser or client type (user agent), the address and parameters requested, the time, and the response status. This applies to the website's data requests, the public API, the browser extension, and the AI assistant plugin.

AI assistant plugin

When you use our plugin in ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant, the assistant sends our servers only the specific lookup it needs, such as player names, draft picks, a league format, or a trade to evaluate. We do not receive your conversation, your name, or your account with the assistant provider. We log these lookups to operate and improve the plugin. The assistant provider's handling of your conversation is governed by its own privacy policy.

League lookups

When you connect a league, you enter a public identifier such as a Sleeper username or a league ID. We use it to fetch that league's public data from the fantasy platform (for example, league settings, rosters, team names, member display names, and trades) and may store that public league data on our servers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as:

• Pages visited
• Time spent on pages
• General geographic location (country/state level)
• Browser and device type
• Referring website

We see this information in aggregate. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising

Our website shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure them, and, where permitted, personalize them based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com and learn more at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. The public API and the AI assistant plugin do not show ads.

4. Information Stored on Your Device

The website and browser extension use your browser's local storage to remember things like your Sleeper username, connected and recently viewed leagues, and display preferences. This stays in your browser; you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. The cookies used by Google Analytics and Google AdSense are described in Section 3.

5. How We Use Information

• To provide the Services, including answering API and plugin requests and showing your leagues
• To keep the Services secure and reliable, including enforcing rate limits and preventing abuse
• To fix problems and improve the Services
• To understand overall usage of the website, API, and plugin
• To show ads that support the free website

6. Who Receives Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information is handled by service providers that run the Services on our behalf:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers, which run our website, API, and plugin servers and store request logs
• Database providers, which store our data, including public league data
• Analytics and advertising providers (Google), as described in Section 3

When you look up a league, we request that league's public data from the fantasy platform that hosts it. We may also disclose information if required by law.

7. Data Retention

• Server and request logs, including AI assistant plugin lookups: kept for up to 30 days, then deleted
• Public league data: kept while it is useful for serving that league, and deleted on request
• Google Analytics and AdSense data: kept according to Google's retention settings and policies
• Emails you send us: kept as long as needed to respond

8. Data Security

We collect little personal data, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect what we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our servers and database.

9. Your Choices

• Clear your browser's site data to remove locally stored usernames, leagues, and preferences
• Opt out of Google Analytics and manage ad personalization using the links in Section 3
• Disconnect or remove our plugin in your AI assistant's settings at any time
• Email us to ask about, or request deletion of, information related to you, such as stored data for a league

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.

11. California Privacy Rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we hold about them, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
